Howdy partner! I reckon you’ll want to take a gander at this swell pack which contains all kinds of elements from which you can put together a scene from the Old West in 19th century America. Immerse yourself in the adventure and wild atmosphere of the Old West, and recreate anything from a watering hole to a bustling trade town. A wide selection of unique buildings and props allows you to create the perfect setting for your western tale full of cowboys and six-shooters. Dust off those cowboy boots and get to work!
The Old Western Town pack also includes a variety of unique buildings like a saloon, a bank, and a bar. Each building contains a variety of individual elements such as roofs, walls, signs, window, etc. so that you can assemble and custom design your unique style of town! In addition, most decorations and props contain separate sub-props, so users can move, rotate, show, or hide the related objects according to their filming needs.

Here is a quote from the Moviestorm Forums by Poulet Noir:
A few words about layout. In order not to overwhelm the prop selection window, the models are in four groups:
1/ Buildings (all with two textures, ‘normal’ and ‘Hi res’ with 4 times the pixelage. Actually one of them has a lo-res version as well, but I got very bored by that stage…)
2/ Industrial props (streetlight, fence, concrete wall, the latter with ‘Hi res’ texture as well)
3/ Urban props (bins, rubbish, etc. some with ‘Hi res’ textures)
4/ Yellow flatbed truck (this had to be separated out as it’s not static)
They are grouped like this because that’s how they were in the FPS creator pack. None of them have normal or specular textures, simply because when I tried them out I didn’t see much difference. The ground materials do have normal and specular textures as they did show a difference.
A thank you to Poulet Noir and the folks behind FPS Creator!

As promised late last week, Moviestorm has released its sword fighting Pack. Priced at 2000 MS points or roughly $20 American, the pack contains numerous animations as well as several props and characters. The full list of contents can be found here at the Moviestorm News blog. Moviestorm also encourages users to combine this pack with other packs available from Moddingstorm. A preview/tutorial can also be viewed here at Cyber Hermit.
And… no, the pack itself still does not appear to be available. And… no, there does not appear to be any information as to when the pack will be available. Yes, that means I have just posted a tutorial for a pack that is not available for you to play with. I am such a bastard.
Here’s a brief tutorial that will get you started with the new Sword-fighting pack. Please note that this tutorial will only work with Moviestorm 1.5.2 or later. Please visit the website (link at the end of the video) for more information.
