Follow the thoughts of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a 27 year old physicist and neurotic individual. In this episode, Freeman sings and dances while being shot at by a tank.

The planet Elmore has joined the uprising but it’s moon remains loyal to Earth. When the Rebel fleet arrives, the time for negotiating is over.

The New Devonport blockade is broken, Yasuko pushes for martial law on Earth and makes plans to secure the other colonies with military force while the rebels prepare for their campaign against the government.

The rebel broadcast was seen across the inhabited systems. Now the government must reassure the colonies that it has their best interests at heart. However, not everyone is convinced but they are more than willing to fight for their freedom.

Ethan and Katherine, fugitives on Earth, continue their mission by breaking into the SBC Offices while Yasuko and The Agent are closing in.

It could be argued that this is nothing but a 3-minute commercial for Eve-Online. Yeah, but what a helluva commercial! It could also be used as an example of how machinima can be used for narrative purposes or purely commercial exploitation. This is a very well-done short/commercial/narrative. Call it what you wish. It is excellent.

From the beginnings of the EVE Universe, its inhabitants were born into chaos, forever struggling to create order only to write a new chapter of discord in the annals of history. Rising, clashing, and discovering, just to fall again as the machinations of their efforts and ambitions extend beyond their control.

It is into this vicious cycle that you are now reborn, the capsuleers and mercenaries that decide the fate of an entire universe, changing the future and altering the course of all that will be… forever.

An interesting way to look at World of Warcraft.

From WoWInsider, “This fine video is brought to you by Fireside Guild. Not only is it beautiful to watch, but it could be one of the best sleeping aids you’ll ever encounter. See, Weightless by Marconi Union was created along with the British Academy of Sound Therapy to be one of the most relaxing songs ever heard. They were so successful that listeners are warned not listen to the song while driving.”

WoWInsider also claims, “This machinima was scientifically created to put you to sleep.” Maybe, but wouldn’t it be just as effective to watch “Star Trek: Nemesis”? ;-)

Sometimes you just have to watch something because you are trying to figure out what it is saying, what it means. Sometimes you just watch something because it is visual interesting and, for lack of a more expansive phrase, because it is fun. That is what I did with “Rust.” Came across this at Yourmachinima.com. It was fun. ;-)

To get a break from editing interviews I often wander the grid and simply take in the beauty of it all!
Hence this occasional new series: raw, unedited [for the most part] simply to make them mouths water…
Today: Rust by Cica Ghost – stunning & simply stunning…
Even if you ONLY HAVE 15 minutes to get in-world NOW & EXPERIENCE for yourself!
