Cinema 14: Synthetic Faith

I came upon this film via YourMachinima.com. So, if anyone deserves credit for the discovery and highlighting of this excellent story, they do.

A short film based on the novel “Article of Faith” by Mike Resnick. Done in iClone 4.0.

I am trying to remember the last time I watched something more thought-provoking than what is offered to us with “Synthetic Faith.” Nikolay Rusenov shows a good grasp of camera technique and movement, script, story and lighting. There is no stilted blocking or simple default lighting in “Synthetic Faith.” There was obviously a great deal of care, effort and thought put into this. We, the viewers, are the beneficiaries of those efforts.
