The Hollywood Reporter states that Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton have been cast in Universal’s remake of cult horror classic “The Thing.”
So we’re down to doing remakes of remakes? Are there any functioning cells in the imagination part of any brains in Hollywood? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PEOPLE! STOP BEING SO FREAKIN’ LAZY AND THINK OF SOMETHING ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe they’re going to spend tens of millions of dollars to remake a movie that was a remake itself. Are they truly so imagination-challenged that they cannot think of an original story of their own? Do they really have to continue this celluloid grave-robbing? Apparently so. Unbelievable.
